POSITION TITLE: Credit Counselor(1 position)

POSITION DUTIES: Advise and educate home buyers on qualifying and acquiring mortgage debt. Provide guidance in determining the best type of loan and explain loan requirements and qualifications. Advise on credit issues, mortgage requirements and bankruptcy matters. Work closely with customers wanting to repair credit in anticipation of purchasing a home. Willingness to work with Portuguese and Spanish speaking community. Knowledge of a foreign language is not required but preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: High School + 2 years in the job offered + Board Certified Credit Consultant or Certified Credit Score Consultant . In lieu of the required experience, the employer accepts + 2 years of experience in doing real estate mortgage financing with Board Certified Credit Consultant or Certified Credit Score Consultant.

RATE OF PAY: $35,360 per year

HOURS: 40 hours/week
